Today we had a fun day!
We began the day with morning circle time and healthy snacks.
In Language Arts, students completed a couple of pages where they had to look at the picture and circle the correct beginning sound.
In Math students practiced patterning, where they had to cut and paste in order to complete a pattern.
In the morning we had a very nice presentation of a dairy farm. The presentation was very interactive and engaging. Students learned about healthy eating and how important it is to be balanced!
Ask your child about healthy food and "sometimes" food.
In the afternoon, students participated in centers and we practiced our song for the Christmas Concert!
Have a great evening everyone!
"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."
