"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."

Happy Thursday!

Today we accomplished a lot!
W e began the day as usual...circle time, snacks, French and Drama classes.
In Language Arts students completed a page of their Writing with Phonics book, where they had to look at pictures and try to hear the vowel sound in the word. Students also completed their journal. Today the topic was "When it rains I like to...". In Math, they completed a page of their ABC 123, where they counted and circle the correct number. Students also completed a couple of activities dealing with patterning. They were instructed to cut and paste pictures in order to continue a dinosaur pattern.
In the afternoon we worked in our Portugal project and it's coming along. Thank you parents for all your help!
Next we had centers as you can see in the pictures and finish off the day with Gym class.
Have a great evening everyone!
