Lots of stories to share today!
We began the day with morning circle time, healthy snacks and French class.
In Language Arts we reviewed name, sound and formation of the alphabet and blends.
Students completed a couple of worksheets dealing with reading and word formation.
We also spent quite some time on our Report Card student's comment portion.
In the afternoon we had centers and talked about our International Day project.
If it is not possible for you to send in 1-2 important facts about Portugal...no worries...we will be working on that during class time.
To finish off the day we had Gym and story time.
Have a great evening everyone!
"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."
