"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."

Sunny Wednesday!

I just love to see the sunshine! No matter if it's cold...as long as we have the sunshine!!! :)
Today we began the day with a house game in the Gym. Students came in class, had snacks, French and Drama classes. We then got ready to wait for the Fire Truck, that unfortunately couldn't make it. Students were pretty understandable after I explained to them that the firefighters were probably helping someone in danger. We re-scheduled for this Friday, hopefully will work!
The firefighters are usually on call when they visit schools, fingers crossed they will not have any calls Friday morning. :)
In Language Arts, students completed a page where they had to look at the picture and circle the correct word. After March Break we will be strongly focusing on cvc word (consonant/vowel/consonant).
In Math, students reviewed patterns by manipulating various blocks, seashells and shapes.
After lunch we had centers and Gym class with me.
Have a great evening everyone!
