What a great weather to be outdoors today!
Students enjoyed their outdoor recess!
In the morning we had our circle time, snacks and French class.
In Language Arts we practiced reading the following words: mop, bee, rope, vase, hive, bone. Students completed a worksheet where they reviewed these words.
In Math we completed a couple of worksheets that dealt with numeracy.
In our UOI we did our science experiment. It was messy but fun!
Come to our Science Fair to see pictures of our experiment.
We finished our day with Gym and a nice story titled: "Pelican and Pelican't".
Here is what the story is all about:
"Pelican knows what he can do.
He's got talent just like you.
We are all special in our own unique way.
Pelicans fly, turtles swim and lions roar.
What do you do best?"
Have a great evening!
"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."
