Lots accomplished today!
In the morning we had snacks, circle time and French class.
In Language Arts we practiced reading the blends: bu, hu, ra, so, ba, se.
Then students completed a page where they had to look at the letter at the beginning of each row, say the name of each picture and circle the pictures in which they could hear the long sound of the vowel.
Next students practiced reading the following words: rag, nip, bug, Sam, tot, cap, Bob, bat, tub, bag and hen.
In Math we reviewed sorting. Students were instructed to sort a group of animals into mammals and reptiles. They did great!
In our UOI students color, cut and paste different animals into their habitats.
Today we also practiced our Arts Night song on stage. To finish off the day we had Gym and story time.
Have a great evening everyone.
