Today we began the day with our morning assembly in the Gym and watched a video about bullying and how we can be kind and caring to one another.
We played a fun house game organized by gr. 5 students in the gym. It is great to see older grades taking charge and being leaders. That's a great example to JKs.
When we came in class we had snacks, French and Drama class. In Language Arts we completed 3 pages that dealt with reading and recognising the beginning sound in each picture. In Math students practiced their numeracy skills in their book ABC 123 by counting items and circling the correct number.
In our UOI we read a story about snakes and then made a snake out of paper plate and water color paint.
Next we had reading buddies with gr. 4 class.
To finish off the day we had Gym and story time.
Have a great evening everyone!
