"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."

Happy Monday!

Today we began the day with morning circle time, snacks and French class.
In Language Arts we practiced writing, reading and spelling the words: zip, seal, coat.
We review long vowel sounds as well.
In Math we completed an activity where students drew their family members and counted them. We did the same activity at the beginning of school year, now we are going to compare the drawings. I'll be posting pictures this week.
Also, in Math we reviewed coins: name and value.
In our UOI we will be learning about reptiles and amphibians this week. Today we talked about turtles and made a turtle craft.
To finish off the day we had Gym.
Have a great evening everyone!
Mrs. Padovan
