"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."

Happy Tuesday!

Busy day today!
We began the day with morning circle time, healthy snacks and French class.
In Language Arts we completed 2 pages from ABC 123 book, where focused on blends and beginning sounds. In Math we worked on numeracy where students used math counters to work on one to one correspondence and  count objects in groups.
Older students in the class used math counters to work on simple addition.
In the afternoon we decorated an Easter Egg as we are being part of an Easter Egg Exchange with other schools around the world. This week we already received 3 eggs from different schools.
We also worked on our new UOI bulletin board. We put lots of pictures of animals and briefly talked about them.
Students had reading time and Gym class to finish off the day!
Have a great evening everyone!
