Today we began the day with morning circle time and healthy snacks.
In Language Arts we met our new animal friend: Seabreeze Seal.
Students learned a little bit about seals and sang our phonics song.
After that students practiced writing upper and lower case S. We also made a list of words that begin with s.
In Math students practiced their numeracy skills by looking at the number and counting the correct amount.
In our UOI we made self portrait using clay. Everyone had so much fun doing that!
A special thanks to Jacob, who brought maracas from Cuba for the whole class.
Have a great evening everyone!
"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."
