Happy Tuesday!

Today we began the day with morning circle time and healthy snacks. As part of our morning circle time we talked about what is a great friend, students contributed with their answers, take a look at our chart.
In Language Arts we sang our phonics song and practiced writing upper/lower case n and b. Students also practiced writing and reading the following blends: ne, ni and be.
Students who finish their worksheets first are encouraged to participate in reading groups. Reading group is when one students read to another letters, blends and one vowel words.
In Math students completed a page where they had to look at the number and circle the correct amount.
In our UOI we read "The Hungry Caterpillar" story book. We talked about the book and the story sequence. After that, we painted a special paper using green paint. Tomorrow we will cut out circles and make a caterpillar.
