"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."

Happy Thursday!

Today we began the day with morning circle time and healthy snacks.
In Language Arts we reviewed name, sound and formation of m.
Students completed a worksheet where they had to identify the beginning sound of each picture.
They also practiced reading the following blends: ba, be, bi, bo, bu.
In Math students were encouraged to count and circle the correct amount. In our UOI students completed a page for their Report Card where they had to think and draw what they enjoyed doing the most in term 1.
To finish off the day students traced letter m using marshmallows and of course, they were happy to eat afterwards!
Have a great evening everyone!
