Today we began the day with morning circle time and healthy snacks.
In Language Arts we reviewed name, sound and formation of all letters learned so far.
Then, students completed a worksheet where they had to look at the picture at the beginning of each row and circle the pictures in which they hear the short vowel sound.
Students also practiced reading the following blends: na, ne, ni, nu, no
In Math, students counted using one to one correspondence, traced, cut and paste the correct number word. Then they were encouraged to write the number.

In our UOI we reviewed the story of "The Three Little Pigs" and students were asked to draw the three houses using as many details as possible. Next they colored, cut and paste the characters from the story.
To finish off the day students participated in centers and had Gym with Mr. Browning.Have a great evening everyone!
