"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."

Remembrance Day

Today we began the day with morning circle time and healthy snacks.
After that students attended French class and participated in our Remembrance Day assembly.
Students came back into the classroom, we read a book about Remembrance Day, made poppies and completed this activity:

We had a talk of how we can make a difference starting in our classroom.
In Math, students used math counters to sort and make patterns.
To finish off the day, students attended Gym class and participated in centers.
Have a great long weekend everyone!
