"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."

Happy Wednesday!

Today we had lots of fun!
We began the day with morning circle time and healthy snacks.
In Language Arts students completed a page where they had to look at the letter at the beginning of each row, say the name of each picture and circle the pictures which begin with the consonant sound.
After that students were encouraged to read the following blends: mu,me, mo, mi,ma.
In our UOI/Math we read a story called if you give a mouse a cookie. Once we were finished we incorporated math into our UOI by making number booklets. Students were given a booklet labelled 1-12 and had to pick the cookies that had chocolate chips that corresponded to the number.
Students also wrote in their journals and participated in centers.
Have a great evening!
