Although we had to stay indoors today...we had fun!
We began the day with morning circle time, healthy snacks and French class.
In Language Arts we met our new animal friend of the week: Ya
Students completed a page where they had to trace and write upper/lower case y.
They also had to circle pictures that begin with y sound.
And we watched this video: http://youtu.be/4EwfoeZtazI
In Math we reviewed patterns and students created their own patterns on stripes of paper. Take a look at our bulletin board.
After lunch we had Arts in our UOI time. Students watched this story: http://youtu.be/t5mGeR4AQdM
It is a book titled: The Dot
Then each students created their "dot" art piece.
To finish off the day we had centers, Gym class and silent reading.
Have a great evening everyone!
