"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."

Happy Wednesday!

Today we began the day with morning circle time, healthy snacks, French and Drama classes.
In Language Arts students had a writing assessment done for Term 2.
In Math students completed a couple of worksheets on numeracy skills, where they had to count and circle the correct number.
In the afternoon, for our UOI we made another science experiment. Today was "Dancing Raisins".
First I asked students what they think it would happened when we put raisins in Sprite.
Here is what they guessed:
Table 1 - raisins will make bubbles
Table 2 - raisins will explode
Table 3 - raisins will change color
And the result was that we had "Dancing Raisins" because of the gas in the soda.
After the experiment they all wanted to try the soda.
To finish the day we had centers, Gym class and story time.
