"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. Happy Monday!

Today we began the day with morning circle time and healthy snacks.
In Language Arts we met our new animal friend for the week: Katty Kangoroo. We looked into some words that begin with K and displayed in our alphabet center. Students completed 2 pages where they practiced writing upper/lower case K. Older students completed one more worksheet, where they had to match the words with ending sound: in and ip.
In Math we started a new unit, please, read the letter sent home. Today students were encouraged to create a pattern using lego blocks.
In our UOI we talked about places we would love to visit and what type of transportation we would need to travel. Then students received a picture of a template and drew pictures of items they would need bring to the trip. Of course, toys was on the top of their priority...nothing else matters! :)
To finish off the day we had writing center, Mr. Potato Head and blocks.
Students attended Gym class and enjoyed a story time.
Have a great evening everyone!
