"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."

Happy Tuesday!

Today we start the day off with morning circle time, healthy snacks, French and Drama classes.
Miss. Patenick is working hard on practicing JK's dance for the Gala. Can't wait to watch them!
In Language Arts we completed page where students practiced writing and reading the following blends and words: be, ba, bag, pan.
Part of our morning we spent in the resource room. Students participated in a very interactive smart board lesson with Mrs. Smith's class. We reviewed our unit of inquiry on transportation and also math concepts on graphing.

In the afternoon we used our imagination and thought of 100 things we wish to have and 100 things we would not want to have.

Next, we thought of what we would buy if we had $100...

This is Laila's drawing...she would like to buy Elsas!

This is Lennard's drawing...he would like to buy skateboards and a tablet.
Then students had centers and Gym class with me.
To finish off the day we practiced the poems.
Have a great evening everyone!
