Today we had a fun day!
We start off the day off with morning circle time, snacks and French class.
In Language Arts we focused on blends, ending sound, formation and sound of X. Take a look at students work:
For younger students in the class we are working on letter formation. They completed the following worksheet:
In Math we worked (as a class) on numeracy skills. Students were instructed to count the objects and circle the correct number.
Next, we practiced counting by 10s to 100 and students were instructed to cut and paste the numbers in order from 10-100.
Next, students wrote in their journals. For older students in the class we have been working on the following:
- always start a sentence with upper case
- use finger space between words
- end the sentence with a period
- write words phonetically

In the afternoon students decorated bags for tomorrow. They will use the bags to put Valentine's cards in.
After that we had centers and Gym class.
