"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."

Happy Monday!

Today we began the day with morning circle time, healthy snacks and French class!
In Language Arts this week we are learning about letter R. Our animal friend for the week is Rusty Rooster.
In Math we used all items students brought and they used their imagination to build any structure.
Next we discuss what makes some objects easy to build with and others difficult (e.g. objects with straight sides are easy to build with; round surfaces don't stack).
In the afternoon we had centers and students attended Gym class.
