Everyone looked great today!
It was a busy day for sure! I think everyone will need a nap before going trick or treat!
We start our morning off with a costume competition in the Gym. Then we had a house games and IB Learner Profile awards. This month Miqueas got the Inquirer award!
When students came into the classroom, we made cookies and a couple of readiness Halloween activities involving patterning, sorting and numeracy skills.
In the afternoon we made a friendly monster mask, danced and participated in centers. After second recess, students handed out candies and attended Gym class.
Have a safe Trick or Treat everyone!
And remember to bring in candies for the candy drive!
"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."
