"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."

Happy October!

I can't believe we are in October already!
Today we began the day with our morning routine and French class.
In Language Arts we reviewed name, sound and formation of a, e, i and u.
Students then completed a page where they traced and formed upper/lower case a, e, i and u.
In Math students worked on number 4. Representation, counting and writing.
In our UOI students practiced their fine motor skills by cutting along on lines.
In our inquiry centers students had the opportunity of manipulating puzzles, sorting dinosaurs, wood blocks and pretend camera, microphones and telephones.
Have a great evening everyone!
Nathan brought a very healthy lunch today...quinoa with vegetables and chicken. Way to go Nathan!
I want to be like you when I grow up :)

Story Time Today...
Cute book that demonstrates bad and good manners in a comical style. The rhyming narrative and cartoon pictures are fun for children to look at and the situations are (mostly) ones that any young child can relate to. After reading it we discussed about what it means to have good manners.

This sweet and silly look at behavior from a kid's point of view explains that there are lots of things regular people can do that Dads just can't!
But no matter what a dad never ever stops loving you!
