Today we began the day with morning circle time and healthy snacks.
In Language Arts we reviewed name, sound and formation of a, e, I, o, u, t and l.
Students completed a page where they had to look at the letter at the beginning of each row, say the name of each picture and circle the pictures in which you hear the short sound of the vowel.
In Math, students completed a page where they had to circle the correct number of objects. On the same page, students had to color a monkey by letter.
Today we also revisited our math unit on data management. Students cut, sorted the pictures onto the corresponding row and paste.
After that students explored with math counters.
In our UOI we looked into mixing colors. Today we mixed blue + yellow = green. Students then painted a green apple.
In our centers we had Lego, seashells, puzzles, writing and dinosaurs.
Have a great evening everyone!
