"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."

Happy Wednesday!

Great sunny day today!
Today we start the day off with morning circle time and healthy snacks.
In Language Arts we reviewed name, sound and formation of u, e, i and a.
Students completed a page tracing and writing the vowels.
In Math, students represented, traced and wrote number 4.
In our UOI we talked about fall and activities or festivities we can have at the fall. After that students completed a page about what is their favorite thing to do at fall.
In our inquiry centers we had pumpkin decoration, blocks and sorting sets.
Have a great evening everyone!

Good job Kareena eating a super healthy lunch...edamame, cauliflower and broccoli. :)
Story time today...
This book shows a child pondering the many problems that mothers must deal with in the course of a normal day. But no matter what we go through the day we wouldn't change our mother role for anything in the world!

Everyone loves Willy the wind-up mouse, while Alexander the real mouse is chased away with brooms and mousetraps. Wouldn't it be wonderful to be loved and cuddled, thinks Alexander, and he wishes he could be a wind-up mouse too. In this gentle fable about a real mouse and a mechanical mouse, Leo Lionni explores the magic of friendship.
