"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."

Happy Monday!

Today we had a good day!
We start the day off with morning circle time and healthy snacks.
In Language Arts, students were introduced to our new animal friend: Betsy Bee.
We sang our phonics song and completed a page where they had to trace and write upper and lower case b.
They also were encouraged to circle pictures that begin with b.
In Math we reviewed sorting. Students cut out pictures for warm and cold weather. Then they had to paste in correct category.
In our UOI we talked about emotions. I asked students what kind of things make them happy, sad or mad. We painted a paper and tomorrow we will cut into the shape of a pumpkin and make happy pumpkins.
Students attended Gym, Drama and French classes today.
Have a great evening everyone!
