"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."

Happy Tuesday!

Today we began the day with morning circle time and healthy snacks.
In Language Arts we sang our phonics song and practiced writing Os.
In Math we practiced counting, writing and representing numbers 7-8.
In our UOI we were encouraged to be inquirers and risk-takers by opening up our pumpkin and guessing how many seeds we were going to find. After separating the seeds we counted them. Each student helped me count. Take a look at our chart.

Students then colored their own pumpkin.
Have a great evening everyone!
*No reading homework this week.
