"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."

New Unit of Inquiry

I am excited to start our second unit of inquiry. This unit will have the following main central idea: "Arts elements can be used to convey messages and influence our emotions."
Students will be exposed to a variety of art activities. We will also talk about our emotions and how can we use art to express ourselves.
Throughout this unit students will be encouraged to be open minded, communicators, risk-takers and reflective.
Please, contact me if you have any questions.
Mrs. Padovan
