"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."

Happy Tuesday!

Today we had a great day!
We began the day with morning circle time and healthy snacks.
Then students attended French and Drama classes.
In Language Arts we reviewed name, sound and formation of "Ii". We sang our phonics song. and completed a worksheet where students had to trace and write upper/lower case "Ii".
In Math we worked on number 1 and 2. Students were instructed to count and represent number 1 and 2. Today in our Unit of Inquiry, we focused on our "Likes and Dislikes". Students were encouraged to make a collage using pictures from grocery store fliers of items that they like and items that they don't like so much. Tomorrow students will talk about their choices.
To finish off the day students attended Gym class and we read a nice story.
Have a great evening everyone!
