"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."

Hot Wednesday!

Today we began the day with our morning circle time and healthy snacks.

In Language Arts students reviewed name, sound and formation of “Ii”. Then we completed a worksheet where students traced and wrote upper/lower case “Ii”. Today we tried to think of words we can hear short sound of “Ii” such as pig, milk, fish and pin. As part of our programme we first focus on short vowel sounds and later on the year we introduce long vowel sounds.

In Math we practiced our numeracy skills by counting and representing numbers 3,4 and 5. Students completed 3 worksheets for Math today.

In our UOI we talked about our “Likes and Dislikes” collage and made a bar graph to show how many students like healthy food and how many don’t.

Today students attended French and Gym classes.

*Please, remember to return readers tomorrow.

*Friday is Sprit Dress up Day, please have your child wear his/her house colors.
