We had a great day today!
We began the day with healthy snacks and morning circle time (calendar, weather, 100th day pop corn and songs).
In Language Arts, students were introduced to our new animal friend "Ellie Elephant". We sang our phonics song and practiced name, sound and formation of "Ee". In Math we continue with our unit on data management and today we had a lot of sorting to do!
As a class we sort a bin full of different balls, take a look at our chart. After that students worked together and they sorted different objects by color, shape and size.
In our Unit of Inquiry we talked about healthy bodies. Today as a class we looked into the 4 food groups, we talked about what it means to have a healthy body and went outside to draw our body shape using chalk.
Students attended Gym and French classes today.
Have a great evening everyone!
