What a great day to be outdoors!
My JKs really enjoyed their recess time today!
In our class today we began the day with our morning circle time and healthy snacks.
In Language Arts we reviewed name, sound and formation of Ii and Uu. Students completed a worksheet where they traced and wrote these letters.
We also made a list of words that we can hear short sound of Ii and Uu.
In Math we practiced our numeracy skills by naming and representing number 1. Students then completed an activity where they had to cut and paste different representations of number 1 in correct order. Take a look at the pictures :)
In our UOI we built a fort together and discussed ways we can play with it.
Students completed their journals and participated in inquiry centers.
Have a great evening everyone!
