"The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."

Rainy Thursday!

Today we had a fun day!
We began our day with morning circle time and healthy snacks.
In Language Arts we reviewed name, sound and formation of "Ii" and we also made a list of words that we could think that begins with short I sound.
Students then completed a worksheets where they traced and wrote upper/lower case I.
In Math we played a game where students had to represent a specific number by counting buttons. JKs are visual learners, you may notice that we try to use as many hands on activities as possible so they can grasp the concepts better.
In our UOI we talked about character traits and how we can use nice words to describe a person.
We have been reading books in class about friendship and how to be caring.
Today students attended Drama, French and Gym classes.
Have a great evening everyone!
